Gratitude brings me to create this post today. Life has offered many lessons, experiences and mentors who have offered advice to move forward, to take action and see the positive response which I would like to help share with others. In doing so, I will continue my own positive growth and development.

Marcea Weiss
Marcea grew up on a Dairy Farm in Hartland, Wisconsin and joined the military during college to serve her country while strengthening her leadership skills.
She served in the U.S. Army as a UH-60 Blackhawk Helicopter Pilot, Training Officer, Maintenance Manager and Test Pilot supporting the 25th Infantry Division (Tropic Lightning) in Hawaii and the 1st Infantry Divisions (Big Red One) in Germany, as well as the National Guard, having served as the past WI commander of F CO, 2-238 Aviation (MEDEVAC) company and currently as a Joint Air Planner with the MI Air National Guard.
Since leaving the military, Marcea has served in progressive hiring, sales, marketing, operations and general management roles, working with Cypress Semiconductor, GE, Merendino, Brunswick Mercury Marine, Kohler and Walmart to develop her team, reach the next level and achieve customer-focused results.
Marcea holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Miami, an MBA from the University of Phoenix, Honolulu, a LSS Black Belt (change management) Certification from GE and an LSS Master Blackbelt Certification from Brunswick Mercury Marine.
Marcea has written and published a book to help other transitioning veterans titled, Leaving the Military; Your Deployment Guide to Corporate America and volunteers her time to help with this effort.
Marcea is a General Manager for Walmart Supply Chain and lives with her family in Brookhaven, MS.
Dr. Marella Big Mountain
Marella delights in using her Doctorate in Strategic Leadership to “rattle the air” of existing leadership theory with leading-edge, often provocative leadership scholarship with the aim of better informing and advising future leadership behaviors through leadership coaching.
Marella has a military aviation and linguistic background where she earned the “Top Academic” Award in the US Air Force’s C-130 Hercules pilot training before flying operationally in Japan, North Carolina and around the world on Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom missions. Marella helped stand up the Air Force’s newest center of excellence with a focus on leadership entitled, the Profession of Arms Center of Excellence (PACE), at Randolph AFB, Texas. One of Marella’s most rewarding leadership challenges took her to the US Embassy in Tashkent, Uzbekistan where she was recognized as the “Officer of the Year. ”
Marella teaches at the Master’s level of leadership for both Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and the Air Force’s Air University (AU) as a Master instructor earning the AU’s “Educator of the Year” Award in 2019. She is currently working in the National Capital Region participating in various Executive Coaching Working Groups and Federal Coaching Networks. bigmountaincoaching.com
